Your Mission

As Director Webshop (m/f/d), you will take full ownership of our two branded webshops built on the same technology and infrastructure. You ensure it delivers an exceptional customer experience while driving revenue and business growth. You will lead a cross-functional team of 30+ experts, including Product, IT, UX/UI, and Web Analytics, to continuously optimize conversion rates, enhance user engagement and develop innovative features that establish our platform as the unique go-to place for gifts and experiences.

Your Responsibility

• Webshop Ownership: Lead the strategic development and daily operations of our webshops, ensuring best-in-class e-commerce performance and integrating commercial, functional, technological and operational aspects in a very entrepreneurial manner
• Conversion Rate Optimization: Implement a data-driven approach to enhance UX/UI, streamline the user journey, and maximize conversion rates. 
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle-strategy, feature development, roadmap planning, implementation, and release management. 
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize web analytics and customer insights to drive continuous improvements and personalized experiences. 
• Agile Leadership: Foster a fast-paced, test-and-learn culture, empowering your team to innovate, fail fast, and optimize quickly. 
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key internal teams (Marketing, Customer Management, and Customer Service) to create a seamless shopping experience.
• Growth & Innovation: Identify market trends and develop a future-proof technology and feature strategy that strengthens our competitive position.
  

Your Profile

• 5+ years of leadership experience in e-commerce, preferably at a director level in commerce, marketplaces, travel, or FMCG.
  
• Proven track record of growing e-commerce businesses, ideally with P&L responsibility.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams, working with software development teams, and implementing agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong data-driven mindset, with experience in A/B testing, web analytics, customer behavior analysis and ideally a solid understanding of AI opportunities
  
• Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 
• Fluent german language skills are essential
• Experience in management consulting (3+ years preferred) is a plus.
• Passion for customer experience, engagement, and digital innovation.
